Hi
I use Parcel2Go.com for most of my larger parcels and with this service I get Parcel2Go specific tracking numbers. Whether I am using Parcelforce, MyHermes, or any other courier, all tracking numbers start with P2G representing Parcel2Go.
Unfortunately Packing Partner lists many couriers but no 'Other' option and no Parcel2Go option.
Therefore any parcel that I send via Parcel2Go I have to go into eBay Selling Manager and update them manually and find them in Packing Partner and mark them shipped independently. This defeats some of the main benefits of Packing Partner if I cannot enter a valid tracking number that it happens not to recognise.
I usually enter these tracking numbers in eBay with the courier entered as 'Parcel2Go.com' so that the buyer knows where they can go and check their tracking number.
I am still trying to work out a suitable way to do the same for Amazon sales without having to email the details to the buyer, although I do not do so many Amazon sales right now.
Thank you
Nick

It's easy enough to add Parcel2Go into the list, if you can let us know the services they offer, we can add those too.

Hi Andrew
www.Parcel2Go.com is where you can review the service. You don't need an account to look around the site or to find prices and carriers etc. I would recommend anyone to consider them particularly for MyHermes as they seem to be the cheapest for MyHermes deliveries.
It is an interesting service. It uses many couriers, which you choose based on quotes supplied on-demand based on the destination address, weight and size of the parcel.
No matter which service you choose they give you a tracking number that is specific to Parcel2Go, but the shipping label varies depending on the chosen carrier, although it always carries the Parcel2Go tracking number which is prefixed 'P2G'.
Some of the couriers used: MyHermes, FexEx, Parcelforce, UPS, Yodel, TNT, Hermes, Collect+, CitySprint.
They also have many other services that ship internationally and can even provide pallet deliveries.
I use them for MyHermes and InPost (a cheaper locker service which will resume operations when CityLink is replaced with a new courier). MyHermes via Parcel2Go is cheaper than MyHermes direct on MyHermes web site. Your first parcel can also be sent for free - no matter what courier service you choose to try out their service. If you prepay £100 at a time, you get a further £5 free, so deliveries then are actually cheaper than the listed price.
They have integrations with some shopping cart systems, unfortunately not mine though.
I also use Despatch Bay Pro for Parcelforce deliveries which are cheaper than anywhere else I have seen. They require an account setup to get actual prices.
If you can simply add Parcel2Go.com as an option, allowing tracking numbers prefixed with 'P2G' then that should be a very useful and hopefully simple addition, that would work with eBay sales if 'Parcel2Go.com' is added as the carrier name rather than the actual courier used. Any further integrations would be a bonus :-)
Thank you

Thanks for posting the info.
I don't understand the part about prefixing tracking numbers with PTG as Packing Partner has no control of tracking Nos.
They are either scanned or imported from a file generated by the courier.
I will add Parcel2Go to the shipping rules, and have found the CSV file format so can create a carrier export for them.

Thanks. If you can add it as 'Parcel2Go.com' rather than just 'Parcel2Go' then when it gets automatically added to an eBay order when shipped, recipients will be able to see the web address where they can check progress with the tracking numbers, as they are only trackable on the Parcel2Go.com web site, even though the end courier have their own tracking systems, these tracking numbers cannot be checked on those couriers' web sites, only Parcel2Go.com.
Having a carrier export for them will be fantastic!
DespatchBayPro.com is the other service I use for Parcelforce - nothing odd about their tracking numbers, but they also have an API and import ability too :)
Really appreciate it! Thanks
